In numerous articles I have promoted the combination of academics and sports and the learning combinations that they offer each other. One of the items that I don't frequently talk about is the mixture of athletics and culture.
Sure you can find evidence of athletics in everything from Music (hey who can forget the classic "Take Me Out To the Ballgame" ;-) to painting and theater (Damn Yankees). Well now there is a new play that focuses on youth sports. The play is called "Rounding Third" and focuses on the dynamics between two Little League coaches, one win focused and the other who just wants the kids to have fun.
